Job Scam Notice

Some people pretend to be recruiters to get money or personal information from job seekers. Here is how we work, so you can spot a fake.

What we never charge for

Velocity Search Group never charges you to apply for a job or to work with one of our recruiters on a job we are filling. The employer pays our fee.

What we do charge for

We offer paid upgrades in our JobSearch Hub, such as monthly plans, ebooks and one-on-one recruiter sessions. You buy these only on our own website, on a secure checkout page. Buying one is never a condition of being considered for a job.

What we will never ask for

We will never ask you to pay to be considered for a job, to buy equipment, or to send money by gift card, wire transfer or payment app. We never ask for your bank account or Social Security number before you have a written job offer from the employer.

If something doesn't look right

If someone says they are with Velocity Search Group and something feels off, please email us before you respond: care@velocitysearch.net. You can also report job scams to the Federal Trade Commission at reportfraud.ftc.gov.
