Location: Duluth, GA

Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 per year

With offices across the Southeast and ongoing expansion, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality projects and building strong client relationships.

Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Estimator to lead the estimating process for complex commercial construction projects. You will analyze plans, prepare detailed cost estimates, and collaborate with project teams and subcontractors to develop competitive bids.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for commercial projects (industrial, retail, medical, office).
• Analyze architectural, structural, and MEP drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Solicit subcontractor and supplier bids, negotiate pricing, and build cost breakdowns.
• Partner with project managers, superintendents, and design teams during preconstruction.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and recommend cost-saving measures.
• Maintain a database of unit costs, historical data, and market trends.
• Prepare and present bid proposals to senior management.
• Assist with risk assessment and mentor junior estimators.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial construction estimating experience (general contractor experience preferred).
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., On-Screen Takeoff, iSqFt, Sage Estimating, Bluebeam).
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and costs.
• Ability to read and interpret complex construction documents.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

Physical Requirements

• Ability to visit job sites to assist with takeoffs or assess project conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
