NATIONAL COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE/TITLE & TRANSACTION SERVICES

Location: Atlanta, GA

HYBRID 3 days in office per week.

Our client, a national leader in commercial title and escrow services, is seeking a Senior Commercial Title Officer to join its growing Atlanta team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions ranging from single-property acquisitions to complex, multi-site and multi-state portfolios.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in the title examination, underwriting support, and transaction management process by analyzing title records, coordinating curative matters, reviewing due diligence materials, and ensuring the accurate preparation and issuance of title commitments and policies. This role is ideal for an experienced title professional who enjoys solving complex title issues, partnering with clients and internal teams, and contributing to successful transaction outcomes.

 

 

Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 5-7 years of commercial title experience required
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial title commitments, endorsements, policies, and underwriting practices
  • Experience supporting complex commercial real estate transactions from title review through closing and policy issuance
  • Strong understanding of title curative matters, surveys, legal descriptions, and transactional due diligence
  • Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other title and transaction management systems
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, customer-focused approach with strong relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members and clients
 

 

What You’ll Do

  • Properly price title commitments, endorsements, policies, and guarantees utilizing appropriate fee schedules and rate structures
  • Review and approve a variety of legal documentation, including deeds, operating agreements, corporate resolutions, and related transactional documents
  • Prepare, revise, and issue title commitments, pro forma title policies, and endorsements
  • Select appropriate title policy language and write-ups for standard and extended coverage transactions
  • Support commercial real estate transactions through title commitment review, ordering title and tax updates, obtaining title curative documentation, and assembling recording and transfer tax information
  • Review buyer, seller, and lender instructions and transaction documents for closing
  • Analyze surveys, title reports, and other due diligence materials to identify and resolve title issues
  • Respond to title examination questions and obtain necessary underwriting approvals
  • Coordinate resolution of title defects and curative matters to facilitate timely closings
  • Issue final title policies and endorsements in accordance with company underwriting standards
  • Maintain complete and accurate transaction files, records, and reports
  • Partner with clients, lenders, attorneys, underwriters, and internal teams to ensure seamless transaction execution

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $90,000-$125,000
  • Bonus also available.
